🧗🏾‍♂️ Your Mission

Unibuddy is looking for an experienced IT Manager to build and manage a first class IT capability supporting our employees in locations around the world - in London, Bangalore, New York and beyond. We would also be interested in hearing from IT Specialists with relevant experience who are ready to make the leap into a more senior role.

This is an opportunity to build a global team in a fast-growing company. With a remit covering internal software systems, hardware procurement and asset management, security solutions, standards compliance, employee training and more - this is a very broad and exciting position within Unibuddy.

Your day to day tasks will be…

Establish and grow a global IT capability within Unibuddy to support our employees.
Implementing security frameworks (ideally ISO27001 or SOC2).
Overseeing the IT budget and ensuring cost effectiveness.
Managing vendor relationships, working with other departments on vendor/ software selection and implementation.
Maintaining software, and hardware registries.
Supporting employee onboarding and offboarding in supply of appropriate hardware and software.
Ensuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable legislation, and regulations.
Maintaining internal policies for IT equipment, software access, audit, and security.
Providing training materials and/or sessions to keep employees up to date with policies and practices.
Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.
Resolving all issues coworkers have with their IT systems and software.
Supporting the day-to-day operations of our internal software systems.

👨🏽‍💻 This might be for you if…

Proven experience providing internal IT support in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of security standards, legal requirements, and management of these through application of appropriate policies.
Experience administering a wide range of software systems, device management, and procurement.
Able to prioritise and balance time between long running and interrupt-driven tasks.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Proven analytical and problem solving ability. What's on offer
