Thank you.Required/Essential Skills<ul><li>Commercial experience with Node.js and backend frameworks</li><li>Proficient use of JavaScript/TypeScript</li><li>Experience in working with REST, GraphQL and integrating with external services/APIs</li><li>Experience in DevOps using cloud platforms such (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc) and designing/implementing serverless applications/microservices</li><li>Experience in using container management software/services (Docker, AWS Fargate/ECS, Kubernetes, etc)</li><li>Good understanding and hands-on experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, DynamoDB, etc)</li><li>Good understanding of common design patterns and data structures</li><li>Excel in writing clean and maintainable code, following standards, and guidelines</li><li>Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (version control, tooling, testing, etc.)</li></ul>Optional/Beneficial Skills<ul><li>Working knowledge/experience of Python</li><li>Good understanding of full-stack development</li><li>Experience in setting up/using linting tools (e.g eslint, prettier)</li><li>Experience in deployment and management of cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, etc)</li><li>Working knowledge/experience in writing automated tests</li><li>Ability to digest and estimate technical work based on requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical team members</li><li>Willingness/desire to continuously learn new technologies/techniques</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Flexible working times/hours</li><li>Company pension scheme</li><li>Remote work available (office in Glasgow available)</li><li>Provision of development hardware</li><li>Supporting online learning/training courses</li></ul>
