We are looking for a highly skilled developer who is comfortable with both front and back-end programming. You will be tasked with developing and designing front end web architectures, ensuring the responsiveness of our eCommerce platform alongside a talented and passionate Development working on a vast array of systems.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Full Stack eCommerce Developer, who’ll be reporting directly to the Digital Technology Manager and Dotted line to the eCommerce Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and the improvement of BRP eCommerce application, front and back office
The position is located at our new offices in Montreal on the border of the innovation district right in the heart of the business center. The space is fully designed to stimulate innovation, co-creation, collaboration within the various teams (Marketing intelligence, CRM, Digital and Global Brand Office) and to have fun at work!
You’ll Have The Opportunity To:
<ul>
<li>
Develop and maintain a customer facing digital ecommerce platform.
</li>
<li>
Develop and maintain any interface with other systems related to eCommerce (payment gateway, Fulfillment platform, SAP…).
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with Project managers, Product owners, IT, BA and UX team to constantly improve traffic acquisition, conversion, and retention.
</li>
<li>
Write unit and functional tests within automated test environments to ensure code quality.
</li>
<li>
Build functional prototypes of applications to demonstrate the value to the stakeholders.
</li>
<li>
Convert the user stories into development tasks and provide accurate estimates.
</li>
<li>
Participate in all areas of the project life cycle, including Discovery, estimation, Sprint Planning, delivery, and post release support.
</li>
</ul>
THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
<ul>
<li>
Experience with Magento, Magento Cloud CLI and Adobe Experience Manager would be a plus.
</li>
<li>
Strong organizational and time management skills.
</li>
<li>
Proven track record of prioritizing own work.
</li>
<li>
Excellent knowledge of front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
</li>
<li>
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Vue.
</li>
<li>
Experience with creating, consuming, and designing APIs (GraphQL).
</li>
<li>
Familiarity with the Adobe Experience Cloud and eCommerce stack.
</li>
<li>
Proficiency with languages such as Java and Python.
</li>
<li>
Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, MariaDB and MongoDB.
</li>
<li>
Excellent spoken communication skills (in either French or English).
</li>
<li>
Good problem-solving skills.
</li>
<li>
Attention to detail.
</li>
