The Opportunity:
<p>Reporting to the Sr. Software Development Lead, the successful candidate will be instrumental in executing and delivering well tested code. This position will require you to work in close concert, as part of a larger geographically distant team where you will be required to share your insights to drive a better process.</p>
What we need you to do:
<ul>
<li>Create unified and easy to use interfaces</li>
<li>Work with Product Owners to determine business requests, requirements, and desired functionality</li>
<li>Create wireframes of interfaces under development to be approved by stakeholders</li>
<li>Modernize legacy front ends</li>
<li>Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle</li>
<li>Be a productive member of an inclusive team where pairing and peer reviewed code are valued</li>
<li>Follow best practices (continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, and code standards)</li>
<li>Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design</li>
<li>Contribute ideas for new frameworks and toolsets</li>
</ul>
What you bring:
<ul>
<li>3+ years of experience in a Front-End development role</li>
<li>Intimate knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) and Vue.js</li>
<li>Experience with Linters (ESLint preferred) and Testing Frameworks (Jest preferred)</li>
<li>Proven work experience in a software development team</li>
<li>Demonstrable knowledge of HTML5, CSS/SCSS, Node/NPM, and UI/UX wireframing</li>
<li>Solid understanding of REST</li>
<li>Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code</li>
<li>BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience</li>
</ul>
Some Preferred Experience:
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with Ruby and Python</li>
<li>Knowledge of relational databases (ex: MySQL, Postgres)</li>
<li>Knowledge of version control, such as Git</li>
<li>Experience with GraphQL</li>

Front End Developer

You will be responsible for bridging important communication gaps to enable us meet our rapid growth goals. <h3>What you bring:</h3>

<li>BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience</li>
<li>5+ years of experience as a full stack developer</li>
<li>3+ years as a team lead or team leadership responsibilities</li>
<li>3+ years Ruby or Python experience</li>
<li>3+ years of experience with web frameworks (preferred: Rails or Rack)</li>
<li>Proven work experience in an agile software development team</li>
<li>Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3</li>
<li>Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code</li>
<li>Workable knowledge of MySQL, Postgres, or AWS Aurora databases</li>
<li>Knowledge of version control, such as Git</li>
<li>Ability to simplify complex problems</li>
<li>Vue.js experience (preferred)</li>
<li>SASS experience (preferred)</li>
<li>IoT Technologies (preferred)</li>
<li>Sinatra experience (preferred)</li>
<li>Understanding of DevOps deployment processes and technologies; Docker, Jenkins etc. (preferred)</li>
