Summary&nbsp;We work on creating cutting edge cloud software to support the Department of Defense.&nbsp; Our software teams work in an agile collaborative environment where each scrum team is composed of 5 to 10 developers.&nbsp; Our software architecture is based on micro services which heavily utilizes Docker.&nbsp; We have multiple projects that either focus on creating synthetic environments, training, or mission planning and awareness.We are seeking a skilled frontend web developer.&nbsp; We look for candidates that have a strong desire to keep learning and advancing their skills.&nbsp; In order to support this continuous learning, we provide a number of resources to foster this as well as providing the training time.&nbsp; An ideal candidate would have React or Angular experience and would be willing to learn the other.&nbsp; We work with geospatial data and the center piece of our UIs is a map view.This position will require the candidate to apply for a Secret security clearance and will be located in either Orlando Florida, Tampa Florida, or Arlington Texas with a hybrid work from home schedule.&nbsp; Relocation assistance can be provided.Essential Duties and Responsibilities&nbsp;Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp;<ul><li>Strong coder with demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript.</li><li>Must be eligible for Secret DoD Personal Security Clearance</li><li>Passion to develop cutting edge software to solve complex problems for the Department of Defense</li><li>Desire to develop innovative software for various R&amp;D projects</li><li>Responsible for software planning, design, execution, and deployment of new features</li><li>Must be able to collaborate and perform effectively as part of a project "team"</li></ul>Qualifications and Education Requirements&nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, software, or computer science.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience or a Master’s degree in engineering or computer science with 1 years of software engineering experience</li></ul>Preferred Skills&nbsp;These following skills will be used in this position based on the task.&nbsp; These are nice to have skills and the candidate will have training opportunities to gain these capabilities if needed.<ul><li>Experience with TAK Products, such as Android Tactical Assault Kit&nbsp;(ATAK), WinTak, or WebTak</li><li>Working with RESTful APIs such as Flask, Node.js, or C# ASP .Net</li><li>Experience creating web applications using frameworks such as React or Angular</li><li>Familiarity working with geospatial data using GDAL, Geoserver, OpenLayers, Leaflet, or Cesium</li><li>Familiarity with database systems like PostgreSQL, RTDB, etc.</li><li>Experience with container runtime environments such as Docker and container-orchestration systems such as Kubernetes</li><li>Experience with Kafka and RabbitMQ</li><li>Deploying software to cloud platforms using containerized software modules in DevSecOps pipelines</li></ul>Security Responsibilities&nbsp;Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.  Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form.
