Tasks
<ul>
<li>
Code custom layouts in HTML and create web components and features.
</li>
<li>
Implement and assists with UI and UX design development for web page layouts and templates enhancements.
</li>
<li>
Assist with operational Digital Marketing and Communications website content management updates in English and French.
</li>
<li>
Assist with technical troubleshooting and work with web vendor to resolve day-to-day operational website issues.
</li>
<li>
Work with third-party web vendors (Sitecore CMS, COVEO Administration Console) to understand and provide solutions for day-to-day issues, optimisations, and enhancements.
</li>
<li>
Understand how each marketing technology tool is integrated into the website, assist with platform upgrades, and developing and providing new solutions for the SE website (COVEO, InterAction, Tikit eMarketing).
</li>
<li>
Perform code review and document business processes.
</li>
<li>
Gather business requirements for new requests from the business.
</li>
</ul>
Education
<ul>
<li>
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Programming, or equivalent experience.
</li>
<li>
Web Accessibility Certification, or equivalent experience with WCAG 2.1 AA web development best practice – an asset.
</li>
<li>
Experience with UI and UX design concepts and Figma website templates – an asset.
</li>
</ul>
Experience
<ul>
<li>
2-3 years related experience in a web developer role.
</li>
<li>
Strong coding knowledge (HTML, CSS, WAI-ARIA, JavaScript).
</li>
<li>
Experience with front-end programming and back-end integration knowledge.
</li>
<li>
Experience with IIS, ASP.NET framework and SQL.
</li>
<li>
Experience with Sitecore or other enterprise CMS.
</li>
<li>
Demonstrated experience with coding custom layouts in HTML, creating website custom components, and feature enhancements.
</li>
<li>
Experience with WCAG requirements for web development.
</li>
<li>
Experience with troubleshooting technical website issues and working with vendors to resolve issues, using a JIRA ticketing system.
</li>
<li>
Experience with English and French website content management platforms.
</li>
<li>
Experience with COVEO or equivalent web search indexing tools - an asset.
</li>
<li>
Experience working with website and marketing technology vendors.
</li>

The Reporting &amp; Automation team within IT Service Desk focuses process automation and solution design. We are looking for someone passionate about programming and solving problems through automation.
Detailed Responsibilities Include
<ul>
<li>
Using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build, design and automate management tools and web applications, including Virtual Assistant and ANITA.
</li>
<li>
Building reusable and scalable components using the corporate branding guide
</li>
<li>
Work with stakeholders to troubleshoot, debug, and test the tools you or a team member built
</li>
<li>
Ensure solutions and processes are auditable and compliant with organization security policy
</li>
<li>
Create/publish at a high quality a variety of technical and business documents
</li>
</ul>
Experience/Qualification
<ul>
<li>
A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.
</li>
<li>
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue, PHP, Laravel, and SQL
</li>
<li>
Good working knowledge of RESTful APIs
</li>
<li>
Bilingual French and English a definite asset
</li>
<li>
Strong analytical skills to translate data to business insights
</li>
<li>
Knowledge of multiple technologies and frameworks: Laravel, VueJS, RASA, MySQL/MariaDB
</li>
