Job DescriptionHow you will help
You will support the engineering team and implement automation to fortify and expand our current technical processes. You will develop a strong technical understanding of the components of our system and work with internal resources to solve any challenges that may arise.
What you will do
• Design and develop software across our full product stack (React on the frontend, powered by a robust backend microservice architecture)
• Contribute to our product direction by translating customer requirements into functional, scalable code, consulting with product and design resources to guide our engineering choices and workflow
• Devise and implement improvements to our automated testing and deployment processes
• Manage the operation and automation of production environments
• Triage technical support requests as needed
• Liaise with customers to gather product feedback and future requirements

Our tech stack
The Contract Platform Technologies team leverages the following technologies in our day-to-day development process:
Typescript, React, AWS: Cloud Formation, CDK, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, Cognito, S3, Quicksight, Opensearch, Glue Tables, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SNS, Eventbridge, Systems Manager / Parameters Store / SSM; Libraries: Yargs, Lodash, Date-fns, HTTPie, Cypress, Storybook, Semantic UI, Circle CI, Lerna, Yarn, NPM
Desired skills and experience
• 5+ years of experience making full stack contributions to production web applications 
• Strong development-tools fundamentals (git/GitHub, npm/yarn dependency management, etc.)
• Proficient, working knowledge of AWS (bonus: Lambda/Serverless)
• DevOps experience with complex, microservice-driven production systems
• Comfortable with ES6 JavaScript / TypeScript
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical and subject matter concepts to wide range of audiences (such as customers and internal stakeholders)

Lead Frontend Engineer - CPT

Job DescriptionHow you will help
At HealthVerity, privacy is at the forefront of our platform. As a Software Engineer on the Privacy Engineering team, you will support and extend the core technologies that preserve the privacy of patient and consumer data across a number of HealthVerity’s products and services. You will improve the core algorithms that power our patient de-identification and linkage technology. You will extend our blockchain-based consent management solution, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and governance. You will help to optimize a secure multiparty computing solution that links millions of rows of healthcare and consumer data.
What you will do
• Work with key stakeholders to refine requirements and eliminate ambiguity
• Design, discuss, implement, and ship features extending Python-based services deployed to AWS
• Spearhead greenfield projects, leveraging the latest cloud technologies to solve novel business problems
• Work alongside a team of developers, reviewing code and discussing technical approaches to challenging problems with large organizational impact
• Hone your skills and grow as an engineer, sharing your expertise with your team and the organization at large
