They shape the direction of new innovative products, scale up existing systems, and unify complex data workflows.&nbsp; The roleAs a Staff Engineer in the Food Alliance, you will be responsible for helping to design and develop resilient, scalable and flexible software to support our impressive growth as we scale up our technologies and teams. You are responsible for supporting the design, development, and maintenance of our software across multiple teams with various dependencies. Alongside being the hands on expert within a domain, you will be challenged as a senior technical leader and have an opportunity to work with highly competent colleagues on challenging engineering problems and have a great impact on the organization. The role 
 
As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll join a cross-functional team building features to be used by millions of customers across a dozen-plus markets. You will develop engaging user experiences iteratively using modern technologies with focus on accessibility, scalability and maintainability.

What You’ll Do 
<ul><li>Work in a cross-functional team with a product owner, engineers, designers and analysts;</li><li>Help to enable your product team to iterate fast and learn about our customer by planning, building, testing and launching features and A/B experiments;</li><li>Collaborate with engineers across your department and the company to continuously improve our code base, systems and processes;</li><li>Design and develop solutions that can continue to scale;</li><li>Coach and mentor other team members through workshops, pair programming, and code reviews;</li><li>Contribute to recruiting by attracting, reviewing and interviewing candidates. 
</li></ul>What You’ll Bring 
<ul><li>You have at least 5 years of experience working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript;</li><li>You have experience with component based architecture using Reactjs and Redux;</li><li>You have extensive experience on binding frontend and backend services together</li><li>You have experience testing and improving your code through CI/CD pipelines and unit, integration and end-to-end testing;</li><li>You feel comfortable with people management topics and have worked in a leading role in a fast-changing environment before</li><li>You have experience working in cross-functional teams, using agile frameworks;</li><li>You have experience with migrations from SPA to micro-frontends</li><li>You can handle UX designers very well. 
</li></ul>Interacting with front-ends, designers, product managers and our teams around the world is very much part of our day-to-day, so communication skills are important. We are looking for problem-solvers who can apply their engineering skills to a wide range of the platforms and environments we support.
