We want to transform social spaces so that everyone can hear and be heard while they work, meet and date. We want to change how society interacts with sound at the intersection of hearing health, social spaces and technology.

Our goal is for acoustic performance to be an integral part of the design of every social space across the globe. We picture a world where looking after your ears is just as important as cleaning your teeth, exercising or looking after your mental health. And we also believe everybody deserves to hear and be heard when they socialise.

We are developing a Hearing Wellness ecosystem powered by in-store IoT devices and the next phase involves installing 30 IoT devices in public spaces across London that allow us to collect data on sound in real time. We already have some really exciting partnerships, including the Olympic Park, and have ambitious plan for 2023.

Mumbli is looking for a talented Platform Lead to take ownership for the execution of our product strategy. You will be able to maintain an up-to date product roadmap fed by insight from customers, focus groups, and market research as required. You will also be able to define the product proposition at epic requirement level and work closely with our CEO, Engineers and Commercial Teams to ensure that features and customer requirements are clear. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a track record of developing a platform product, who wants to assume ownership for the execution of a roadmap for a business in its early stage. You will work closely alongside our Engineering team and our Customers to ensure that we are edging closer to creating a world where everyone can be heard.

What problems can I solve?

Develop front-to-back solutions in PHP and Javascript (Node, React, React Native) that are modular, clean and scalable
Implement solutions initially in Wordpress
Maintain PHP/MySQL database
NodeJS development of Mumbli API
Setup and maintain NoSQL databases in MongoDB
Ensure the stability of the Mumbli ecosystem
Maintain and extend our React Native iOS app

It would be great if you had:

Experience with Product Management within a platform environment
Experience in a startup would be beneficial
Knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
Experience working alongside an Engineering function
Experience of software engineering would be beneficial
Agile Experience
