Job DescriptionWe are looking for Software Developers to contribute to the development and growth of the Pixieset product, used by 700,000+ professional photographers around the world! As a Software Developer, Full Stack you are responsible for writing bug-free, scalable code and shipping high quality software. You will take ownership of features and product initiatives, taking them from conception to production release, all the way to long term support.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Design and implement product features in PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript</li>
<li>Help improve and maintain the Pixieset product and systems infrastructure</li>
<li>Collaborating with other engineers across the entire stack</li>
<li>Deliver everything from tiny front-end UX improvements, to broad structural changes spanning multiple codebases</li>
<li>Work with stakeholders to define requirements</li>
<li>Research and integrate new technologies to drive our development process forward</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience</li>
<li>Experience building custom web applications (beyond CMS platforms like Wordpress/Drupal)</li>
<li>PHP experience - Yii, Laravel and/or Symfony</li>
<li>Javascript experience - jQuery, ES6, Webpack, Vue.js/React</li>
<li>Experience with MySQL (or other RDBMS) and Redis</li>
<li>Solid understanding of web technologies including HTTP, RESTful services, and cloud platforms such as AWS</li>
<li>Familiar with basic data structure and algorithms</li>
</ul>

Full Stack Developer

Job DescriptionRole Summary
To support our continued growth and exciting product roadmap, we're looking for an Intermediate Front End Software Developer! As a member of our collaborative team, you will use your skills to accelerate the front end development and growth of the Pixieset product. You will work with other talented engineers to create beautiful products used by 700,000+ professional photographers around the world, and help build beautiful and functional interfaces for our users, creating a lasting impression for photographers and their clients. Ideally, you are a self-motivated developer with the desire to constantly improve the user experience with ever-changing technologies.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Design and implement product features for our web application</li>
<li>Implement pixel-perfect web UI for both mobile and desktop devices according to design</li>
<li>Build beautiful user-centered experiences and ensure a consistent user experience across various browsers, devices, and operating systems</li>
<li>Produce robust and reusable code and resolve issues</li>
<li>Work with a lead developer and designer to estimate project timelines</li>
<li>Research and integrate new technologies to drive our front end development forward</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>2-4 years of professional experience as a Front End Developer</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical degree in Front End Development or Interactive Design</li>
<li>2+ years of experience with Vue.js or 3+ years of experience with React</li>
<li>Experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript ES6, jQuery</li>
<li>Experience in cross-browser compatibility, web accessibility, validation and responsive web development</li>
<li>Experience in following wireframes, mockups, etc.</li>
<li>Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, single-page applications, and AJAX</li>
<li>Experience with source control and issue tracking like Git, Atlassian JIRA</li>
<li>A keen eye for detail - pixel pushing until perfection, extremely detail-oriented, and takes great pride in achieving excellence</li>
<li>Problem solving skills and a sense of ownership</li>
</ul>
Bonus Skills
<ul>
<li>UX / UI Experience</li>
<li>PHP experience - Yii, Laravel, Symfony, or similar framework</li>
<li>Experience with design tools such as Figma or Sketch</li>
<li>Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process</li>
