We cooperate and enlarge on the Rakuten Ichiba Platform.　Department OverviewOn the other hand, we are taking on the challenge of a business model (BtoC) that leads our whole development by directly operating our own e-commerce that specializes in specific categories and understands each industry.Rakuten EC Firstparty Department (ECFD) is a development organization responsible for those BtoC business and taking care from upstream to downstream of whole e-commerce business such as purchasing product, Sales through web-site, marketing and analysis.Rakuten EC Firstparty Department (ECFD) is currently managing the following services<ul><li>Rakuten Books</li><li>Rakuten Kobo</li><li>Rakuten Fashion</li><li>Rakuten Bic</li><li>Netsuper</li><li>Rakuten 24</li></ul><h3>Position:</h3>Why We HireOur services are growing fast and we need new members to help us empower those services with a holistic approach.Front end for users has been converted to a site based on JavaScript development, and we are looking for not only Java engineer as well as JavaScript engineer.If you are interested in some specific Service, kindly advise it to HR when you apply.　Position Details<ul><li>Develop front end for each BtoC Service and also develop BFF.</li><li>Develop new or existing function, design, test and release.</li><li>Develop highly agile team to meet our speedy-changing business needs.</li><li>Develop with cooperating with other various internal teams such as Search Team, Recommend Team.</li><li>Conduct load tests, performance tuning, and make countermeasures for Sales promotion , in order to build a system that can withstand high traffic</li><li>Discover problems, propose solutions, and make improvements to contribute to the BtoC business.</li><li>Develop high quality applications (Requirements, Design, Development, Tests, Review, and Release).</li><li>Do operations and improvements on the service after release.</li></ul>In particular, your responsibilities may include:<ul><li>Launching new BtoC services.</li><li>Analyzing/developing features which are required in new/existing BtoC services.</li><li>Developing libraries to increase development efficiency in BtoC services.</li></ul>In this position, you will have a cross-sectional relationship with a variety of BtoC services. As such, you will have an opportunity to gain extensive knowledge and valuable experiences in the BtoC business.Furthermore, as this is a newly opened position, you will be able to work with teams to help lay their foundations and pave the way.
