About You
We’re looking for a self-driven software engineer that wants to see their work have a direct impact in the future of ecommerce automation. You’ll work remotely, but collaborate daily with our growing engineering team of seven so strong communication skills and a love of working on a team is a must.
You’ll Get To
<ul>
<li>Work on a close-knit engineering team to build and ship new features on our ecommerce automation platform MESA.</li>
<li>Work on the full stack, including writing backend APIs, front-end JavaScript code, styling, and integrating with loads of third party services.</li>
<li>Debug complex issues ranging from front-end Javascript code, to backend workers making multiple external API calls.</li>
<li>See your work get shipped to production multiple times per month and obsessively measure the effectiveness of feature improvements.</li>
<li>Provide input to help shape the product roadmap and technical tooling.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Minimum 2 years working as a software developer</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of JSON, RESTful APIs and oAuth 2.0 authentication protocols</li>
<li>Proficiency with ReactJS and modern build systems</li>
<li>Experience with PHP</li>
<li>Experience with MongoDB</li>
<li>Experience with automated testing</li>
<li>Familiarity with Shopify or e-commerce is a plus</li>
