The Role
<ol>
<li>Technical leadership for one or more sub-domains of the Roadmunk product</li>
<li>Work with a cross functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers to design valuable solutions to customer and market problems</li>
<li>Design and write clean, testable, high quality code</li>
<li>Mentor less experienced team members and contribute to the continuous learning and improvement of the engineering team</li>
<li>Participate meaningfully in code reviews, design reviews, and solution ideation</li>
</ol>
The Ideal Candidate
<ul>
<li>6+ years of web-based software engineering experience</li>
<li>Experience designing and writing responsive, accessible, and progressive web applications</li>
<li>Experience in architecting scalable solutions in a public cloud infrastructure</li>
<li>Experience designing and implementing REST or GraphQL APIs for internal and 3rd party usage</li>
<li>Experience with different architectural patterns</li>
<li>Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code</li>
<li>Proficient in writing automated tests, system debugging and secure coding practices</li>
</ul>
Additional skills that would be great to have
<ul>
<li>
Familiarity with various AWS tools such as EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, RDS
</li>
<li>
Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases especially MongoDB and Postgres
</li>

Experience developing and using design systems

Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible

Senior Full Stack Developer (Roadmunk)

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a passionate front-end developer to join our engineering team. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, QA engineers, and technical writers to develop one of our flagship products – Structure for Jira Cloud. The best fit for our team would be a person that wants to solve customers’ problems rather than just close issues in the task tracking system.
The Role
<ol>
<li>Write efficient, readable, maintainable, and testable client-side code using:</li>
<li>TypeScript, JavaScript and various frameworks</li>
<li>Create unit tests, sometimes integration and performance tests</li>
<li>Review your peers' code</li>
<li>Solve challenging problems with a great attention to user experience, security and performance</li>
<li>Cooperate with product managers, designers, software developers, QA engineers, and technical writers to develop and maintain the best Atlassian plugins that are used by thousands of people in many big-name companies around the world</li>
<li>Maintain high quality standards</li>
</ol>
The Ideal Candidate
<ol>
<li>4+ years of experience in front-end development for commercial software</li>
<li>1+ year of experience in commercial software development on TypeScript with React</li>
<li>Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related studies, knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals: big-O, basic data structures, and algorithms</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5</li>
<li>Experience in building complex user interfaces</li>
<li>Skills in designing APIs</li>
<li>Good sense of usability</li>
<li>Experience with performance optimization</li>
<li>Ability to express thoughts clearly, including explanation of technical decisions</li>
<li>Solid soft skills to communicate in multicultural environment</li>
<li>Ability to work autonomously and remotely without extensive control or micro-management, ability to start working without complete technical specification</li>
<li>Ability to learn and have productive communication on topics which the candidate doesn’t know 100% in advance</li>
<li>Ability to work with the teammates on elaborating technical specifications</li>
<li>Experience with Java is a plus</li>
