The Print Bar is seeking a Frontend Developer to work on our new website, with a focus on styling UI elements with Tailwind. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tailwind, React, and Remix.run, with experience building high-quality UI elements for web applications. While formal qualifications are not essential, a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in the required technologies is essential. This is a remote contract position, and the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with our digital lead and be comfortable with regular communication via video conferencing and project management software.

Responsibilities

Work with the team to create and maintain the UI elements of our new website
Collaborate with our designer to ensure a seamless and visually appealing user experience
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using Tailwind, React, and Remix.run
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards
Optimize the website for maximum speed and scalability
Stay up to date with the latest front-end development trends and technologies

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Tailwind, React, and Remix.run
Strong portfolio of previous work demonstrating experience in building UI elements for web applications
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a remote team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
