Your Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>As a full-stack developer, you will:</li>
<li>Design and build features in our user-facing products that bridge the gap between front-end code and back-end.</li>
<li>Design and manage database schemas that accurately represent our business logic.</li>
<li>Propose novel solutions to improve performance and/or maintainability of our code.</li>
<li>Write automated tests, follow good software practices to build robust software, and help us iteratively improve the way we do things.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>We’re looking for smart and capable developers. Ideally, you:</li>
<li>Have several years of experience software development. Experience with specific languages is nice-to-have but not required.</li>
<li>Have experience with front-end code. You know the nuances of CSS and HTML, and are familiar with modern component-based design.</li>
<li>Take pride in building good quality code, ensuring that it's understandable and readable, and that it's well tested using automated unit and integration tests.</li>
<li>Display strong communication skills so you can collaborate easily with your teammates.</li>
</ul>
Nice-to-Have
<ul>
<li>On top of the core requirements for this role, it would be beneficial if you:</li>
<li>Have Python or Go experience. Even better if you have Django or gRPC experience.</li>
<li>Have Typescript experience. Even better if you are familiar with the web components standard, and technologies like React or Redux.</li>
<li>Have experience with Linux and the standard UNIX toolchain.</li>
<li>Have some experience with modern production tools such as Docker.</li>
<li>Have experience designing APIs between microservices in ways that are easily extensible and maintainable.</li>
<li>Are comfortable taking the lead on your responsibilities, driving them forward, and helping other developers do the same.</li>

Our Stack
<ul>
<li>Microservices written in Python 3 and Go.</li>
<li>Database layer is Django or gorm, backed by Postgres.</li>
<li>Everything deployed with Docker containers in Google Kubernetes Engine.</li>
<li>Anything that you think will help us do better. We’re not hard-set on any specific technology and are always happy to explore new options.</li>
