Our client is urgently searching for a strong .Node.js Back end Engineer with strong typescript, AWS, Kafka and API experience to work on a critical project in London.

The role:

Node.JS BACKEND ENGINEER : LONDON

We're looking for a Node.js Back End engineer

They'll be working on our current stories product (video based) and the integration of the aforementioned into the customer's super app, with work on progressing the live streaming Back End APIs.

They'll be assisting in the transfer of APIs that currently exist within the HERO ecosystem post-acquisition, and building new APIs to support the live streaming and stories projects.

Tasks and responsibilities

* Building out the live streaming backend

* Auth0 login implementation for the application

* APIs to support content moderation tooling (internally facing)

* Backend APIs to support the integration of personalisation data

All the above will be built with Node.js and serverless, event-driven architecture.

Skills required

* At least 5 years working with Node.js.

* Strong experience with Typescript in a working environment.

* Demonstrable experience working with event-driven architecture, particularly within AWS but Kafka etc is also good

Good skills in written and spoken English

The task is to start ASAP- alternatively start January and then it is 6-12 months with the option of extension.

Our client is based in Sweden & Germany with UK offices. This is English speaking role and English speaking team you will be working with. Remote working has been agreed if needed whilst the pandemic is active. The role is deemed to be outside of IR35
