Principal Software Engineer London to £90k + equity
Principal Software Engineer / Technical Lead (Node.js React Full Stack) *Remote Interview / WFH*. Opportunity to become a founding member of a well-funded tech start-up and be instrumental from the ground-up.
As a Principal Software Engineer you will work with the founders and lead a small team to design and develop new features on the core platform - a software product that enables businesses to streamline their internal processes leading to cost savings and increased efficiency.
You'll be working with a great deal of autonomy on high priority projects where you'll quickly see the impact of your efforts; you'll be hands-on with technology and problem solving collaboratively to make improvements and will be a key figure in launching the product (currently in stealth mode).
The platform has built with Node backend and React on the client side, you'll be influential in tech discussions and choices going forward and will be able to recruit the team around you, in time progressing to the CTO position.
You'll initially go through a remote interview and onboarding process and will be able to work from home for the foreseeable future but with plans to go back to the London office in due course (with some continued flexibility).
- You have experience working in start-up tech environments or are very keen to do so, have an entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen
- You have experience in a senior / leadership role with excellent project planning and a delivery focused mindset
- You're likely to be an active member of tech meet-ups and attend industry conferences, keep up to date with the latest innovations and methodologies
