What you'll do

• Build and maintain automated test suites that are robust, concise, and readable

• Actively participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and sprint reviews

• Pair with manual testers and developers to enable them to contribute to the automation test packs

• Identify and write acceptance criteria for user stories

• Work with developers, Business Analysts and other testers to achieve the common goal of quality software

• Conduct exploratory testing

• This includes being part of three amigos sessions to define testing scenarios/cases against feature acceptance criteria

What you'll bring

• Strong automation coding skills, ideally in TypeScript or JavaScript

• Experience with Appium or Selenium

• A full grasp and appreciation of the test pyramid

• Superb communication skills and the ability to work in an agile team

• The ability to guide others how to write quality code

• Knowledge of using CI/CD and version control tools such as Concourse, Octopus, Git

• Willing to think automation first and champion this

Our spacious tech hub is less than a mile from Leeds train station. There’s plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and at the nearby CitiPark.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
