We’re a Ukrainian startup elKYC – developers-friendly and fully customizable SaaS which helps businesses to verify and onboard clients with the highest conversion rates.

To make that possible we use such technologies as:

• Biometric facial recognition and facematch
• Machine learning
• Optical character reader
• RFID (NFC) reader

and other.

We’re growing and willing to expand the capabilities of our product as well as to enter new markets. That’s why we’re now looking for a senior backend developer to join our team.

• 5+ years of experience in commercial development
• Advanced knowledge of skills: JavaScript ES6, TypeScript, Node.js, Nest.js
• Advanced knowledge of databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Advanced knowledge of technologies: Redis, RabbitMQ
• Experience with Chai, Mocha, Jest etc.
• Experience with REST, Web socket
• Knowledge and ability to use design patterns
• Knowledge and ability to use architectural templates
• Performance analysis and code debugging experience
• Knowledge of Git and Git flow
• Pre-intermediate English

Will be a plus

• Experience with AWS
• Experience in microservices

Your responsibilities

• Develop top notch fintech services
• Collaborate with other teams, consume outside data sources and third party APIs
• Cover own code with unit tests and run them to ensure robustness, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Work on integrating available open source third party plugins, components and libraries
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
