Backend Engineer - Node.Js (Blockchain Integration). Backend Engineer - Node.Js (Blockchain Integration). Remote. Contract or an Employee Agreement. (mfd) About the role: Mission - you will work in the Data Ingestion team powering our data layer by connecting to blockchains, centralized exchanges and decentralized protocols to identify and analyse financial portfolio data. Join us remotely, you can be located anywhere around the CET time zone, as our work is 100% online. The position requires a full-time engagement; both a Contract and an Employment Agreement are possible. What you will do:

• You will be connecting blockchain integrations to our data layer
• Explore new ways of building and optimising a scalable and quick system.
• You will be working with Smart Contracts, Liquidity Pools and Decentralized Protocols.
• You will contribute directly to the product, suggesting improvements and discussing the best way to shape it.
• We aim for a “you build it, you run it” environment, where you will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• You will be involved in the product firsthand, proposing solutions and enhancements to make it from great to brilliant.
• Help us maintain and care about our tech stack: allow time to refactor and ensure the code is maintainable and scalable.
• Work in a mature team that consists of 4 engineers, 1 engineering manager, and 1 product manager.
• What you bring to the table:
  • 4+ years of full-time Backend Software Engineering experience.
  • Writing well-organised, efficient, and easily testable code.
  • Proficiency in NodeJS and JavascriptTypescript development.
  • Solid knowledge and experience working with REST APIs and WebSockets.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with NestJS.
  • Genuine interest in blockchain technology, you are up-to-date with new trends.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and when to apply them.
  • AWS GCP
  • Knowledge of React and NextJS.
