We are looking for our first dedicated data engineer at Lendtable! Beyond a strong engineering, data storage/modeling, and visualization background, a successful candidate will have experience successfully working on unstructured problems, building a scalable infrastructure, strong communication skills and easily adapting to changing roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Drive organization wide (both technical and non technical) data understanding and best practices around data operations
• Develop and automate data pipelines, data modeling and database programming
• Build data warehouses with secure data storage and sharing practices
• Collaborate across teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
• Provide technical leadership for strategy, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of data applications around Lendtable’s technical stack

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building data pipelines, data modeling and database programming
• Strong hands-on knowledge of data management and analytics solutions, such as ReTool, BI tools, scripting, SQL, and Excel
• Familiarity with modern programming languages (i.e. JavaScript [Typescript], React, Node, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Strong analytical skills and passion for solving business problems using data
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Work onsite in our San Francisco, CA office

Nice-to-haves

• Experience building internal tooling systems using products like ReTool
• Experience using customer data platforms (CDPs) such as Segment and MixPanel
• Working knowledge of the saving/investing/lending/fintech space
• Experience at high-growth, venture-backed startups or top tier technology companies
