JPMorgan Asset Management is embarking on a major multi-year, ground up initiative to dramatically enhance our derivatives capabilities end-to-end. As a developer in this team you will work on implementation of front to back toolset for portfolio management, trading, middle office and operations for the derivatives business. The development will predominantly be using Java, Spring Boot, HTML5/JavaScript/React and will leverage the internal and external cloud infrastructure in JP Morgan.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes

Keen understanding of financial control and budget management

Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

Desirable Skills (in order of priority):

Java / Spring

HTML5/JavaScript (preferably with React )

SQL

Python

Desirable Business Knowledge:

Fixed Income Derivatives

Equity Derivatives

Trade Lifecycle
