About Fini

Fini is on a mission to help growth-stage companies increase user retention by proactively resolving their issues. For example: If you have a transaction failure on Uber, we proactively identify and resolve that problem before you need to contact support.

We are a team of ex-Uber founders who saw and solved this problem at a global scale. Given the current macro-economic environment, every company that previously focused on growth is now starting to focus on retention. To help them achieve this, we want to take what we have learned and delight customers with proactive care, everywhere.

This is a chance for you to join an early stage start-up and play a key role in shaping the company. This amount of freedom and influence (you will be our first employee!) will be difficult to find anywhere else.

The opportunity

As a Founding Front End Engineer, you will be creating engaging UIs for product teams. Your work will provide the first touch point for our enterprise customers to interact and improve the experience of tens of millions of their end-users.

What you will do

• Lead front-end engineering by designing and building intuitive UIs
• Be involved in creating technical roadmaps and executing on them
• Actively participate in technical designs and architecture discussions
• Directly work with backend engineers and end-users for feedback
• Help us with recruiting as we grow (we want more superstars like you!)

Who you are

• 3-5 years of experience as a Front End Engineer using webdev. tools: React/Vue/Angular
• Experience defining architectural direction and leading execution on technical decisions
• Ability to mentor others via code review, pair programming, and technical guidance
• Clear communicator, able to simplify complex jargon to a lay audience
• Experience designing intuitive UIs through modular, reusable and scalable components

Nice to have

• Experience with UX / User Research
• Experience with AI / ML / NLP systems
• Experience with Webflow or other CMS
• Experience creating APIs

Tech stack: The front end is entirely greenfield. Some back-end technologies you will be interfacing with: Python, Flask, JavaScript, NodeJS, ELK, GCP
