Our founders (Anthony & Jennifferre) are Registered Nurses who worked clinically during the COVID-19 pandemic where the idea for Lumify began. Lumify launched in early 2021, and we now have over 50,000 healthcare workers using Lumify. We're a small (but growing!) team that works remotely all around the world.

Lumify is looking for a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to help us achieve our mission of ensuring that all healthcare workers have access to the gear and resources they need to excel at the bedside and beyond.

Our tech stack includes Python/Node.js + Vue.js/React.js + PostgreSQL + AWS. We have a iOS/frontend engineer, and we’re looking for someone who will help build Lumify’s entire technical architecture from the ground up.

• Build out new features to help us build the best super app experience, all the way from the idea to shipping
• Work closely with the CEO, designer and engineer to iterate quickly, shipping to users on a weekly (or faster) cadence
• Talk directly to users as they experience issues or have ideas for how we can improve things
• Own the strategy for the codebase, how it should evolve, what new technologies we should be using, decide where to invest and when
• Help manage and grow Lumify’s eng team

• Professional software engineering experience
• Have experience building products end-to-end and growing teams through recruiting, interviewing and mentoring
• A skilled communicator who is comfortable working asynchronously and remotely
• Someone who's empathetic, pragmatic, and organized, who understands that there's a lot of things we could be working on but we should focus on what's important to users
• A bonus: Knowledge of health care and/or medical communities
