About the team Several technological projects are progressing in parallel. Our development team works on different interrelated nesto products and experiences. Our technology allows customers to search and access the best mortgage products and complete their mortgage applications and transactions 100% digitally. From the start, we have created a modern and cloud-native platform, adhering to the highest industry standards in terms of development process and operations. Our front-end is written in Typescript with React and our back-end in Go, as microservices encapsulated in docker containers, well decoupled through REST APIs and pub-sub files and isolated behind different API gateways . Everything is orchestrated by Kubernetes and instrumented using Datadog. Our CI/CD pipelines are automated through Codefresh and our infrastructure is managed through Pulumi (similar to Terraform).

As a Front-End Developer, you will have a significant impact on our product as well as the customer experience. Our Front-End development teams make complex logic processes easy and intuitive. In this position, you will build applications written in JavaScript/TypeScript.

What you will do:

• Develop the scalable front-end on one or more of our evolving platforms;
• Apply strong technical design/coding/testing/debugging skills;
• Collaborate with your immediate team of developers, QA specialists, product managers and designers to create exceptional user experiences;
• Collaborate with the Front-End team and junior developers, to share your knowledge and best practices

Who we are looking for:

• Have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or another technical field;
• 3+ years of professional experience in Front-End development;
• Professional experience with React, Redux, Angular or any other similar Front-End technology;
• Strong CSS skills;
• You like the idea of ​​joining a startup with the opportunity to have a significant impact on the product
• You are comfortable within a team and a creative and high-velocity environment;

About the team Several tech projects are progressing in parallel at a high delivery pace. Structured by squads, the tech team is working on different products and nesto experiences based on strong algorithms and AI to meet business objectives. Our technology stack allows customers to shop and access mortgage products by enabling them to complete their mortgage applications and transactions digitally. From the very beginning, we created a modern, cloud-native tech platform (based on Google Cloud) adhering to the industry's highest standards in terms of development and operation processes. Our front-end is written in Typescript with React and our back-end in Go, in the form of loosely coupled docker-containerized microservices, well decoupled via RESTful APIs and pub-sub queues, and isolated behind different API gateways. Those containers are orchestrated using Kubernetes, instrumented with Datadog and monitored for security via Lacework. Our CI/CD pipelines are automated using Google Cloud Build and Codefresh and our infrastructure is managed using Pulumi (similar to Terraform, but using a rich and extensible programming language and API, in our case TypeScript).

As a Front-End Developer, you’ll take ownership of significant parts of the product and build apps that are written in JavaScript/TypeScript.

What you would be doing :

• Developing the scalable front-end on one or many of our evolving platforms;

• Apply strong technical skills in design/coding/testing/debugging ;

• Collaborating with your immediate squad composed of Backend Developers, QA, Product Owner, and Product Designers to create an excellent user experience ;

• Collaborate with the FrontEnd team to share knowledge and best practices;

• Who we are looking for :

• You have a B.S., B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or another technical field;

• You have 3+ years of professional experience in Front-End development;

• You have experience with React (ideally on Typescript);

• You have strong CSS skills (Ideally with Styled-Component or Sass);

• You like the idea of joining a startup with a growing team of great engineers;

• You are self-driven and like fast-paced teams and environment ;

• You enjoy both sweating the details and deliberate, long-term system thinking;

• You’ve built and shipped great apps;

• You’ve comfortable with architectures of modern applications.
