While our product is currently in beta, we are significantly outperforming industry standards, and we're now looking to supercharge our growth and increase our velocity as we gear up to launch PortalOne out into the world.

THAT'S WHERE YOU COME IN

As the Front-end Developer, your role will be instrumental in creating and maintaining UI web components and workflows for the web-based applications that are part of the PortalOne platform. This includes complex admin and liveops panels for internal use, as well as customer facing web apps. An example component is the development of an IM social platform similar to Discord.

YOUR CHALLENGE

You'll play a key role in creating intuitive and engaging experiences that leave a lasting impression on our users by:

• Owning the end-to-end web development process, including design, development, and deployment, with a deep understanding of all aspects of the process.

• Building and maintaining web-based applications (SPAs)

• Evaluating and selecting the most appropriate front-end architecture and technologies to support the business needs, determining the optimal structure and design of web pages, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

• Monitoring application performance and tracking errors to ensure optimal functionality.

• Driving the optimization of web-based platforms for enhanced performance and scalability.

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing issues related to automation and LiveOps as they arise.

• Keeping up-to-date with new web technologies and trends to ensure that the company's web-based platforms are cutting-edge

WHO YOU ARE

We value creativity and problem-solving skills, and we're looking for someone who can think outside the box to create innovative solutions and has the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in web development with building modern web apps is required

• Strong knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Proficiency with web development frameworks such as React or Vue.js or equivalent

• Proficiency with Typescript

• Experience with styled-components

• Experience with state management patterns such as Redux

• Experience with scalable and maintainable frontend architectures

• Familiarity with the security aspects related to web apps

• Experience with module bundlers such as Webpack

• Experience with Node.js development tools

• Experience with user interface design

• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance-testing software

• Excellent troubleshooting skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

• Working proficiency in English
