Overview

Knox Networks is an open source software platform that supports white label programmable money and digital identity solutions for financial institutions.

The Knox software platform can be used for issuing, authorizing, verifying, executing, transacting, distributing and reporting programmable money between financial institutions andor consumers as non-account based financial instruments including, but not limited to: digital cash, treasury securities, repurchase agreements, central bank digital currencies and any other cash analogue. Our technology focuses on balancing privacy, scalability and interoperability with various financial standards and payment networks.Description

As a Frontend Developer, you’ll help solve unique, large scale, highly complex technical problems and will build delightful user experiences and scalable frontend systems for our digital identity offering. You'll also work with our security and risk engineering teams to build trust and safety features to protect user accounts, without compromising on the user experience. The position is based in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA (also open to 100% remote) with full-time salary and benefits.

Key Responsibilities, Prioritized:*
  1. Create trustworthy mobile and web optimized user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable using modern toolsframeworks
  2. Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, as well as recommendation of changes to designopen source frameworks as required for industry best practices, promoting consistency and reusability
  3. Transform requirements to code level and identify production and non-production application issues
  4. Document and work with team members to reviewshareknowledge transfer completed work
  5. Ensure high quality code and high unit testintegration test coverage, reducing QASupport cycles. Review pull requests and scans to identify bugs, code smells, and tech debt
  6. Help ensure tickets are groomedrefined and delivered as per acceptance criteria by product owners
  7. Work with a positive attitude and winning team approach understanding behavior can impact others. Share knowledge amongst others and help team members learn from one another
    1. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
      • Extended Web3 and Web2 Knowledge: Candidates must have the technical and strategic acumen to understand:
        • Custodial Wallet Solutions
        • Onoff chain data storage and retrieval mechanisms
        • Distributed systems
        • Enterprise and consumer payment solutions
          • Widespread development knowledge:
            • Experience with React, Redux, and other various frontend technologies is a plus.
            • Version control experience with GitGitHub and branching methodologies, code review tools, CI tools, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
            • Great with unit and functional testing and debugging.
              • Preferred Crypto and FinTech Awareness: Understanding and experience working in the financial industry, Familiarity with any of the following: payments, digital wallets, clearing and settlement, privacy, security etc. Understanding and strong interest in cryptocurrencies and the blockchain industry.
              • Comfort in ambiguous unstructured environments: Building something new comes with significant ambiguity, and we want people that can thrive in that ambiguity. ****The environment is highly dynamic, and there are no precedents.
                • Requirements
                  • Received a bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or a related technical field, and proven excellence in previous roles
                  • 3+ years of relevant experience
                  • Priority to those who have familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript,
                  • Experience with Web or Mobile Frameworks such as Svelte, Flutter, and React
                  • Experience with test-driven development and the use of testing frameworks
                  • Knowledge of systems design concepts
                  • Strong communication skills, specifically givingreceiving constructive feedback in a collaborative setting
                  • Be based at the office in New York or LA and be able to travel within the U.S. and internationally on a regular basis as needed
