Novo Nordisk continues to build and invest in in-house digital solutions, and we in the Digital Accelerator (DA) are playing an instrumental role in partnering with the business to bring these solutions to life. Whether it’s building an app for our production workers to improve their processes, or to reduce the burden on our clinical trial patients, your work will have a meaningful impact in delivering value to our end-users.

By joining one of our product teams you will have a chance to immerse yourself not only in the tech, but also in understanding the ins and outs of the business challenge as you engage with team members, end-users, as well as internal partners to craft the best solutions.

You will join a cross-functional scrum team with a Product owner, UX/UI specialist, Front- and Back-end Developers, and a Scrum Master. Together with your team members you will apply best practices for software development, and you will also contribute to sharing best practices across our agile teams. As a technology choice, we are primarily using the Microsoft stack, and are passionate about building full end-to-end digital solutions using cloud and CI/CD pipelines.

 

Key responsibilities include to:

  • Build, optimize, deploy and maintain our digital products with focus on continuous delivery and building next generation digital architecture

  • Use agile engineering practices as well as various software development technologies and tools to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that deliver value to the end users and the company

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve agile objectives, such as implementing desired functionality, and enhancing the user experience.

  • Engage with team and business stakeholders to understand the users and advise on solutions

  • Inspire and challenge the organization with your knowledge of various technologies and tools on how to solve complex business problems

  • Take part in establishing a strong capability within Software Development to ensure knowledge sharing and sparring across the product teams

  • Supervise, mentor and coach junior colleagues

 

Which competencies to bring?
You come with a strong understanding and hands on experience within broad Software Development working in Agile teams, working with:

  • At least one of Programing Languages: Javascript/Typescript

  • Vue.js or similar SPA frameworks - React, Angular 

  • You hold Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or any other relevant field.
     

As a person you are positive with a can-do attitude, communicating effectively, empathetic and pragmatic. You are open to listening to new ideas and approaches and focuses on following through on commitments until the customer is happy. As our corporate language is English, we expect you to be fluent both in writing and spoken.

The Digital Accelerator is the home of the Outliers - a team of people who are wired differently. We are anchored in the Digital Incubator & Innovation unit in Digital, Data & IT.
