The Opportunity

Do you have a background in technology and design? Would you love to contribute to enhancing the current and future wikis on Liquipedia, the world's largest esports wiki, the best resource for live updated results, tournament overview, team and player profiles, game information, and more? If so; you could be the type of candidate that would be perfect for the temporary Front End Developer role at Team Liquid.

This temporary full-time role is available from March 1, 2023, to July 1, 2023.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with the front end development of our website initiatives

• Maintain front end usability and functionality for the Liquipedia website and other technology properties

• Suggest improvements to the website’s user experience by implementing user interface changes when brainstorming with all Technology teams to conceptualize and develop new features

• Coordinate with back end developers to ensure compatibility and usability between front end and back end systems
  

What You'll Need

• Fluent in English

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

• Extensive familiarity with each coding language's best practices (maintainability, performance, security)

• Knowledge of website accessibility standards (WCAG)

• Experience with interaction design principles, user-centered concepts, UX research and design, human-computer interaction, or interface design

• Familiarity with at least one CSS preprocessor and git version control
