Airbyte was founded in 2014 as a mobile product studio, it was then relaunched under a new direction in 2020. Mobile development remains at the business's core, however, in 2021 Airbyte has a broadened startup focused offering of Research, Design, Development and Marketing.James (CEO) & Luke (CPO) co-founded the relaunch in 2020 with a wealth of experience in growth and project delivery and have grown Airbyte exponentially over the past years and are now looking for a direct replacement for our frontend lead to join the duo as the sole engineering presence.

Airbyte is a specialist product studio, with a clear aim to produce and deliver useful, high quality web and mobile-centric applications, as well as building the services to power them. In the past, we have worked on producing minimum viable products, as well as fully fledged products undergoing refinement, for companies ranging from start-ups to huge worldwide brands.

In 2022 we work with a number of strategic partners that bring in bespoke packages where we continue to offer the broad range of services that we offer. To new prospects and on the exterior we focus our offering on UI and UX design subscriptions that have taken off in the UK 🚀

We offer services including digital product consultancy, specification, strategy, design, and development. As a small team, we can guarantee you will work directly with the same people which designed, built and marketed our previous products. We pride ourselves on our adaptability. Over the years, we have produced on many cases, from minimum viable products for start-ups, to fully-fledged products undergoing constant refinements for huge worldwide brands.

About the role:

We are looking for a direct replacement for our frontend lead. We foresee this person having a clear route to a lead engineer role. We are based in London but we are not fixed to any location. You can work fully remote and we encourage you to do so, whatever works best for you.

Alongside your software engineer skills we would love if you have a passion for design. A UX/UI skill set is a great bonus to have. You will need to be self motivated and enjoy the freedom you will receive to achieve great things.

You will be interested in data visualisation and the presentation of data. The right candidate will have worked on a variety of different React projects. If you have worked on a variety of React projects such as platforms, PWA, marketplaces etc then you will fit right in!

• 2+ years of frontend development
• 1.5+ years of ReactJS
