We're looking for a Front-end Web Developer (React) to join our team in London as part of our Product Development function.

Your Role: You will be an experienced front end web developer and will develop and maintain new and existing front end websites. As a front end web developer you will be responsible, but not limited to, the following:

Reviewing architectural and technical requirements, designing and developing enterprise solutions, focusing on solution development throughout the project life-cycle, supporting development and testing activities, supporting best practices and proven patterns and executing proofs of concept on various technologies.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Understanding a problem domain and designing appropriate business object models

  • Work independently, to meet deadlines, adapt to shifting priorities, and manage your time within multiple projects concurrently

  • Review code and promote/enforce clean coding principles and design patterns

  • Ability to communicate both technical and non-technical aspects in clear and effective manner

  • Following Agile programming practices

  • Experience working with off-shore teams

Your Experience

  • Very strong experience with React

  • Strong experience with React hooks and functional components

  • Experience with state management tools in React e.g Redux

  • Node.js

  • Typescript

  • Javascript

  • Html, Css, Sass

  • Unit Testing (Jest)

  • Git

  • Experience working in an agile environment

Skills, experience & qualifications desirable but not essential

  • NextJS (12 or 13)

  • CI / CD ( such as TeamCity, Azure DevOps, Github Actions )

  • D3.js

  • Storybook

  • Webpack configuration

  • Micro Frontend architecture

  • Any experience with .Net, c#, and SQL might be beneficial
