Askria is a data-driven decision-making engine that automates Market Signals, Financial Modelling, Financing Options and Fundraising for startups. We democratise the sourcing and fundraising processes through a combination of Data, Alternative Financing and Impact.

Role Description

• Architecting new features, products, and reusable UI paradigms
• Collaborating with our design, business and other back-end team to build a customer-facing fintech product
• Experience with performance optimization of applications
• Good command over data structure, algorithms
• Implement all best practices for optimal performance in SEO, load time, responsiveness and analytics
• Building and testing tools to support our operations
• Experience with performance optimization of applications
• Designing frameworks and tools that empower other developers
• Work with a performance oriented team driven by ownership and open to experiments

Role Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing front-end applications in Typescript within the Fintech Industry
• A passion of understanding users needs and solving the problems they may face while using the designed web applications
• An organised approach to balancing design, architecture, and code quality
• An exceptionally high standard for clean and testable code
• Demonstrated ownership on projects
• Highly comfortable with modern front-end technologies such as React, GraphQL, Redux, and others
• Familiarity with fp-ts, PureScript or Elm would be preferred
