We are seeking a Frontend Development who will join a team that oversees the development of our new solutions brand websites, Contacto.com and Sellular.com. Contacto is an omnichannel contact center for B2C customer service teams, and Sellular is an omnichannel sales engagement platform. Both utilize Plivo’s cloud communication platform. Because Contacto and Selluar are new, this role provides the opportunity to build and grow new brands within an existing company by elevating the experience of our most important marketing assets, our websites.
The ideal candidate for this role is a technical hands-on developer who enjoys producing high-quality front end ui and web pages. As a member of the marketing team, this person should possess a willingness to learn and gain a deep understanding of our marketing website codebase, and related systems. Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
The role reports to the leader of the go-to-market team, and is a great opportunity for candidates who want to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, collaborative environment and make a big impact. This position will be remote, working from home anywhere across India.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Own, develop and improve the overall experience of our marketing websites by developing and improving frontend features, webpages, and animations as shared by the design team
Build reusable and responsive components and libraries for future use
Plan, create, and develop end presentation layers for digital properties including websites, landing pages, and microsites in accordance with leading software and graphic design principles
Test the effectiveness, quality, and search engine optimisation of designed solutions
Write standard-compliant front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Establish and document development standards and common components for use across multiple business units
Handle multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Effectively communicate across the go-to-market team and broader organization, sharing ideas, updates, timelines, processes, and results
Forge strong working relationships with the go-to-market team and overall organization
Qualifications :
Engineering or related degree in front end development or related field
A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience as a frontend developer or related position building web based frontends
Expertise and hands-on experience with web services and technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript,, Bootstrap, CSS Preprocessing, Responsive Design
Basic understanding of Static Site Generators such as Jekyll and Hugo
Knowledge of Git
Hands-on experience with REST APIs
Basic knowledge of Figma and/or Zeplin and the ability to properly interpret designs from these tools
Up-to-date with web development trends, best practices, and tools/techniques
Write clean, high-quality, and scalable code that complies with industry standards
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and effective solutions
Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
