Primary Objective:

The Front-End Developer is passionate about the Spectrio products and mission while focused on ensuring all content meets technical and visual standards and providing Spectrio customers with excellent service.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with digital artists to create content for digital signage solutions using multiple content management systems

  • Write custom HTML to enable dynamic content experiences across multiple signage players

  • Work with Software Engineering on customer projects including writing HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • Create custom JavaScript for customer specific projects

  • Provide Tier 3 support to diagnose and resolve content related issues in collaboration with Customer Support Teams

  • Quality control of all digital signage programs & content

  • Help develop new processes and conduct testing

  • Set-up and quality control for new customer installations across all platforms

  • Creation of dynamic content within digital signage systems in collaboration with other production teams

  • Retrieval and submission of specific content received from customers

  • Loading of content to all digital signage platforms, based on the requirements provided

  • Determine business needs, project scope, and processes with client representatives

  • Collaborate with customer success, creative, product, and potentially clients, as necessary, to achieve desired outcomes and develop creative solutions to presented issues

  • Assist content management contributors

  • Proficient in using our designated software and platforms

  • Handle content management infrastructure and integration to applications

  • Cross-train team members as needed and maintain process documentation

  • Report and triage issues, verify fixes

  • Work with leadership to build project scopes and action plans as needed

  • Other job duties and special projects as assigned

  • Highly professional with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Analytical and detail-oriented with decisive judgment skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Technical Qualifications:

  • This is an entry-level position with opportunity to grow. Please meet one of the following levels of experience:

  • AA/AS in Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and 1 year of experience

  • BA/BS in Computer Science (recent graduate)

  • 2+ years as a Web Developer

  • Comfortable learning and navigating new software

  • Familiarity with Digital Signage Platforms such as Brightsign or Comqi a plus

*Position is Remote. Considering candidates in the Southeast U.S. including FL, NC & TX .
