Job Description

Harmonic Discovery is looking for a Frontend Developer Consultant to help us create apps for our internal tools. You will work with our scientists and backend developers to build several GUIs for our chemistry database as well as machine learning and statistical models. You will be responsible for turning simple design mock-ups into working code and building scalable high-quality GUI components.

The project is expected to take 2 months to complete.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience building user interfaces in JavaScript, Node.js, React or TypeScript.

• Working knowledge of Flask or Django.

• Proficiency in writing SQL queries.

• Experience with AWS.

• Familiarity with git.

• Demo of your previous work.

• Preferred skills

• Proficiency in Flask.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL.

• Excellent communication skills.

Why you should work with Harmonic Discovery We are a drug discovery company developing a new generation of therapeutics that embrace the complexity of disease. Currently available approaches for creating drugs work on the principal of finding one drug-one protein 'magic bullets'. However, diseases such as cancer and autoimmunity are often the result of several dysregulated proteins across many distinct biological pathways.

We are building a computational-experimental platform to design therapeutics that can target several disease-causing proteins at once. By designing multi-specific drugs, we are able to create therapeutics that are more efficacious and safer than existing medicines.
