This is what your assignment looks like
It seems simple: build the best React applications so that our member satisfaction remains high and the costs low. But behind this strategy is a complex roadmap, full of innovations that serves our members hyper-efficiently.

As React Developer at Basic-Fit,  you ensure the best customer experience for members who use our applications. A lot of software, that we continuously improve and expand. This means not a day will be the same and the scope of your projects will vary. Some examples of projects we are currently working on:

• My Basic-Fit: Our members use this application to manage their membership, make a payment and invite friends to go to the club together.

• Self-service Kiosk: Becoming a member of Basic-Fit starts with the multi-purpose self-service software that allows members to register more efficiently and easily manage their membership.

• Body Analyzer: A smart scale which measures the body of a member and shows the progress towards their fitness goals.

Our tech team consists of IT-savvy people of all levels: full-stackers, back-enders, mobile developers and delivery leads. What we are looking for

• A technical front-ender, who gets energy from building customer applications with a lot of impact. Someone who thinks code quality is just as important as we do, and who knows how to create a great UX;

• Strong experience in designing, building, and maintaining high-availability performant code, preferably in SaaS settings; stack includes Node.js, PostgreSQL, Typescript, and Swagger;

• Would be fantastic if you have some Heroku, Mulesoft, Salesforce, Contentful, Akamai WAF, and Google tools knowledge;

• You love to experiment and welcome any and all feedback on your work. You also respond by providing feedback and help less experienced team mates;

• You want to shine at a corporate that has a start-up mentality .

Furthermore, you have:

• An customer first and critical mindset, you’re always looking for improvements and are not afraid to express your view;

• Experience in designing, building and maintaining stable and user friendly consumer facing React application;

• Knowledge of React, Design System, Typescript, REST and GraphQL;

• Good communication skills in English, a second language (Dutch, Spanish or French) is a plus.
