About the role

As a Software Engineer - Frontend at Jasper, you will report to the Engineering Manager. You will be part of the core engineering & product teams shaping the product vision of Jasper as we scale our features and expand into enterprise customers. You'll take responsibility for building an extensible and adaptable application that is delightful for the customer to use. You will collaborate with cross functional teams of engineers and product managers as we define and deliver true AI customer experiences.

This role can be Remote within Australia, or based out of our Sydney office. Jasper has employees in both Australia and the US. We've built a strong foundation to support remote employees' engagement with other teams. What you’ll do at Jasper:

• Help us make our browser extension feature rich and easy to use for B2C and B2B customers

• Build, maintain and extend features in response to user feedback and strategic priorities

• You'll build extensible and modular code and patterns to make our application flexible

• Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity

• Work on projects that directly impact key business metrics

• Interact with customers and customer feedback to build intuitive features

What you’ll bring to Jasper:

• 2+ years professional experience with React or another modern JavaScript web framework (Vue, Angular, Svelte, etc.)

• Experience building and working with browser extensions or marketplace applications

• Experience with rich text editors (Quill, Draft, Slate, etc.)

• Desire to own your work, and deliver impactful features from start to finish

• Desire to work in a rapidly growing and exciting business
