Closelink is on a mission to become a leading technology platform in the maritime industry. We are currently looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to strengthen our tech team and would love you to be part of this journey if you want to shape new technology standards in the maritime industry and play a key role in shipping (get it?) new features to our customers.

What you will be doing

• Play an essential role delivering products and features to our customers

• Refactor large parts of our application using React

• Work closely together with product owners and designers to define features and user stories

• Review code to maintain a high level of code quality

Who we are looking for

• Making significant difference for our customers and disrupting an old-fashioned market truly energizes you

• 3+ years working with JavaScript, frontend frameworks and libraries

• Solid experience with React

• Ideally you already have experience with or have heard of React Query, Styled System, styled-components and Gatsby

• Challenging the status quo and thinking about new solutions is something you want to do on a regular basis

• You are not afraid of working with legacy code. We will improve it, promise!

• You understand that refactoring code and developing our product (features, bug fixes, …) is equally important

• Learning about new technologies and libraries is something you enjoy

• You are comfortable to take ownership for certain topics

• You are fluent in English and preferably German

• You embrace and actively promote Closelink's values
