About this Role

As a frontend developer at Ory, you’ll be responsible for creating the best possible experience for users of the Ory Network. You’ll apply your knowledge of UI/UX principles to create software that other developers enjoy using.

Key Tasks and Deliverables

• Write code for web-based applications, creating fast, easy-to-use, high-volume traffic applications.

• Develop, create and improve code in an agile environment within the team.

• Share your knowledge and experience with colleagues and customers.

• Optimize web applications to maximize speed, scale, and support for diverse clients and devices.

• Create readable and maintainable code, and ensure the highest quality by providing E2E test support.

• Build libraries, frameworks, and documentation empowering developers around the globe.

• Design and implement simple intuitive user interfaces in partnership with designers.

• Create frontend experience by interacting with backend systems.

Minimum Requirements

• You studied Computer Science, or a related technical field, or have equivalent practical experience.

• You’re a web-native developer well-versed in TypeScript or JavaScript

• You have knowledge of React or similar frameworks like Angular or Vue

• You´ll take ownership and provide support for other developers

• You care about the user experience and you know how to put this into practice

• It is ok for you to work 4 days a week from the office in Munich on average
