Job Summary:

We are looking for a Frontend Tech Lead that will join us in a green field project, being responsible for the development and maintenance of our multiple applications. Your primary focus will be development of our internal and external control panels, focused on payments, transactions, fraud and KYC.You will be working within an exceptional engineering team working on different layers of the platform. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, and the creation of quality software is essential. It’s a great opportunity to help build a brand and product.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work directly with stakeholders, Users, UX Designers and Product Managers to do user research and design optimized workflows and workflow solutions

• Engineer, design and estimate solutions for new feature requests together with product team

• Review pull requests to ensure high quality and maintainable solutions

• Coach the front-end team and elevate their technical skills

• Ensure the implementation of our component based architecture and make sure that our applications are scalable and built on best practices

• Fully understand and work with multiple REST APIs and corresponding services

• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

• Help maintain code quality and organization

• Contribute to the update and creation of our technical documentation and guidelines

A successful “Enter job title” will have the following (List a maximum of 6 bullet points describing the key experience requirements for the position):

• Experience leading and owning projects from beginning to end

• Experience with agile methodologies and automated testing

• Experience collaborating closely with UX and Product Managers 

• Solid experience with Javascript, HTML & CSS

• Solid experience working with REST API providers and consumers

• Demonstrable understanding of secure software principles

• Extensive working proficiency with React and TypeScript

• Test-driven development or other testing methodologies

• Experience with DOM/UI testing

• Proficient understanding of Git

• Familiarity with continuous integration

• A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject would be great but not required

It’d be great if you also brought the following experience:

• Micro-frontends

• Know how on OAuth protocol

• Previous work in the financial sector

• Basic Linux system administration skills

• Docker / Kubernetes / Gitlab

• AWS Cloud services

• Previous work in the Finance sector would be a plus, but not mandatory
