The Opportunity

partner staffing is currently working to find talented Full Stack Developers here in Calgary, to work with intelligence teams in the IT Department. You will work on architecture, front-end (web) and back-end code while fostering best practices like agile, automated testing, code reviews, and continuous delivery. Some of your duties will include designing and developing layouts, writing code to power the underlying functionality of website or app, and developing tests for the code you write. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect brand-new software solutions to fulfill project requirements
• Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade software, as well as maintain legacy code
• Create, design, and implement layouts for new and existing web pages
• Create and maintain database designs for data storage and processing
• Integrate external software libraries and APIs into existing projects

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
• Knowledge and experience of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Experience of multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache) and UI/UX design
• Familiarity with common programming design patterns and best practices
• Experience with common web development tools and services
• Control software, package managers, and CI/CD pipelines
• Comfort with cloud environments
• Familiarity with PHP frameworks and languages are a plus
