Forumm is the all-in-one virtual event platform by 448 Studio. We provide an exciting and unique virtual events experience with our customisable platform and broadcast grade live stream.

Job description

448 Studio is looking for talented full-stack developers to join our new development team based in Watford, just outside of London.Come and join our friendly team in our unique work environment based in a fascinating 1850s warehouse. Our office have just been renovated and the site also houses our Tier II datacenter.

With the imminent release of the second version of our Forumm virtual events platform, we need a team of full stack developers ready to maintain the platform as well as to work on feature additions as required.From time to time we also take on additional software and web project subject to capacity so there’ll be plenty of time to diversify your skills as well!

Our platform runs on AWS Lambda as well as on our in-house servers so a strong knowledge of AWS and cloud hosting is also important as well as development experience.

Your Roles:

• Work with project managers to ensure the platform meets any client requirements.
• Work with the marketing team to ensure the platform adheres to the required designs.
• Ensure the platform is well maintained to keep our 100% uptime.
• Carry out feature additions as required.
• Assist in technical maintenance and upgrades on our in house servers.

Required Personal Skills:

• Ability to set and meet deadlines.
• Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard within the timeframe agreed.
• A thorough understanding of separate QA and Prod environments with clear separation of boundaries.
• Ensure industry standard development and devops processes are followed with efficiency, security and considerations for future modifications always in mind.
• Work well as a team in a startup environment.

This is an in-person role. You must be able to travel to our office in North Watford. Parking is very limited and public transport or cycling is ideal however can be discussed prior to starting.
