We’re offering salary plus equity in our pre-seed funded business for a mid-level developer looking to be one of the first employees, with excellent prospects as the business scales up. 

With an experienced leadereshp team and successful pre-seed fundraise, our business is transforming how we digitise our life admin and personal data. You will be the third employee helping build the technical landscape under the mentorship of a tenured CTO who has successfully exited his tech start-up. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and capable developer who is excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up, work in a truly collaborative team and have real influence over how the business develops. 

We are looking for someone who enjoys taking initiative, puts the collective success before individual accolades, and is ambitious to build big and better, and help us achieve our bold vision. 

The technology stack is a React frontend and an AWS Lambda backend, utilising AWS best practice security due to the processing of sensitive data. Technical requirements for the role:: 

• you have at least two years+ TypeScript/JavaScript experience 
• you have experience using React, or have used comparable frameworks and are happy to now work with React  
• you are interested or experienced in using serverless 

We would be especially interested in hearing from you if: 

• You have worked with AWS before 
• You have used TypeScript before 
• You have DevOps experience 

Main responsibilities: 

We have a customer validated wireframe and have two team members who have started building the prototype.  You will join John and Szabina in building, iterating, testing, fixing and monitoring the product. As such an early team member you will be integral to building the business, so you will be passionate about getting a great customer outcome rather than being task focused.  You will naturally want to speak up to make the product the best it can be and act as a trusted technical contributor.

Salary is negotiable and based on experience and attitude. Due to the early stage of the business, compensation is a combination of salary and equity as we want you to be able to see the benefits from the business you are helping to build.  

The role is mainly remote. We like people (and each other) and sometimes it's great to get in a room together and brainstorm, so we ask that you will be available for ad hoc occasional in person meetings/workshops etc. in the London area.
