We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer (3+ years) to join our talented, dynamic, and rapidly growing global team. We typically look for people to join in London or New York, but would love to hear from great candidates who would be happy to work remotely and live in those time zones.

About the roleAs a Fullstack Engineer, you will join our growing and talented engineering team that is split across our London and New York offices. Our team is fun, friendly, progressive and diligent, and candidates should fit right in! We have a very welcoming and supportive culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and develop new projects and initiatives

  • Work across the entire stack and with multiple departments across the company

  • Contribute to discussions around new ideas and improvements to existing products

  • Write clear and maintainable code, and collaborate with other engineers

  • Take ownership and initiative; capable of working independently

  • Have a strong appreciation for the business side, and a broader view of objectives outside the purely technical

  • Able to create compelling analyses, and estimate solutions to problems involving unknowns

Skills and Experience:

  • Python: 3+ years of experience

  • JavaScript / Front End: 1-3+ years of experience

  • Unix / Linux development environment

  • Web application development

  • Databases; relational and non-relational

  • Cloud infrastructure (we use AWS)

  • Confident with Git version control and code reviews

  • Are receptive to feedback and are always looking to learn and improve

  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable in collaborative environments

  • Curiosity and confidence to debate customer value and impact

Technologies we use:

  • Python

  • AWS

  • Typescript

  • React

  • Github (and Github actions)

  • Terraform

  • Docker and container orchestration

  • Linux based systems for development and production

  • GraphQL

  • PaaS / Low code tools (eg. Zapier, Tray.io)
