Job in a nutshell:

We are now looking to hire a Full Stack Engineer to help our trading and investments team to maintain and build new features for our internal React SPA applications. The screens used by these teams are integrated closely with complex backend office processes such as trade generation so analysis and understanding of these systems will be a major feature of the job. The role will be embedded in one of our backend teams but there will be close collaboration with frontend engineers and learning opportunities across the full tech stack will be available.

We are refactoring legacy code and enabling our developers to create clear and clean pragmatic solutions. We’ve introduced Kafka, run our systems on AWS, and have built a DevOps team to provide our Engineers with the tools needed to observe their domain. We have built a strong engineering foundation for knowledge sharing with several skill shares, guilds, and open discussions running every month. We brainstorm and work with whiteboards and post-its and collaborate across the entire business to do our jobs – awesomely.

Requirements

Your skills

Great HTML, SASS/SCSS/CSS & JavaScript experience
Reasonable Java/Spring experience
Familiarity with relational databases
Strong in Full Stack Development
Mathematics, Computer Science or related Degree would be ideal
Excellent knowledge and commercial experience developing for Webpack, ReactJS, etc.
Modern JavaScript development tools and libraries.
Experience with at least a few common frameworks and libraries (express, redux).
