What we’re looking for

We are looking for a junior to mid-level full stack engineer. You will be primarily working on front-end Javascript, and Python services running on Google Cloud (Cloud Run).

We are a growth stage startup, with a marketplace product that serves both consumer and B2B users. We are in the early stages of building out a platform, with minimal existing technology. You will be joining as the second engineer and will get exposure to a wide-range of technology and a significant say on how things are done.

• Build out the sharesy.com front-end, supporting APIs and backend services.
• Over time develop a view on how we should work, the technologies and tools we should use, how our systems should be architected, and what our product should do.
• Develop an understanding of our product and what our users want, and work with other teams. You won't just be given a spec to code, you will contribute to specs and help with research.
• Spend some of your time using low-code tools such as Webflow, Retool and Zapier.

• Experience in full stack software development
• Experience coding in Python or Javascript
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail

• Passionate about the product you are building and the people you are building it for
• A motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a fast paced, startup environment
