The world is facing an immense challenge. As we digitalize our economic activity, sensitive data & workloads transition to the cloud, making businesses intensely vulnerable to cyber security threats. In Germany alone, 88% of companies have been victims of cyber attacks incurring damage of over €220 billion in 2020 - which has more than doubled over two years. At the same time, IT professionals are burdened with many administrative and repetitive tasks and lack time to tackle high-value topics.

That is why we started ZenAdmin in 2021 with the mission to free cloud-native companies of the tedious chores of in-house IT Operations & Security processes along the employee lifecycle by automating repetitive workflows in our PaaS offering.

We are looking for a senior software development engineer to join us in building the best-in-class client-focused platform for employee-centric IT operations automation.

Tasks

What will you do:

• Dive into the existing frontend and backend code base

• Develop new features, fix bugs, and define ideas together with the team based on our product roadmap, customer feedback, your expertise and data

• Apply your engineering experience to automate processes and maintenance, owning reliability, performance, and availability

• Introduce the technologies you feel strongly passionate about

Requirements

Whom we’re looking for

We are remote-friendly; whether you work out of our headquarters in Berlin or from home anywhere in Europe – it’s completely up to you.

• 4+ years of software experience designing and developing consumer-facing applications with Node.js, Typescript, and ReactJS.

• Solid understanding of Websockets, REST API protocols, and Event-driven microservices architecture.

• Experience writing performant, reliable, scalable, and secure code

• Adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles

Bonus/ Nice to Have

• Deep SaaS software architecture, ground-up design, and product-to-market development experience

• Additional Proficiency in a non-Javascript-based language.
