The Role
Piaggio Fast Forward is seeking a talented and passionate Full Stack Web Developer to join our growing Engineering team. We are looking for a developer with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development principles and a history of delivering engaging web applications and scalable APIs and databases. This individual will be part of a diverse team of analysts, web developers, and engineers who build and maintain internal and external web applications, websites, databases, data warehouses, data pipelines, and software integrations. Our mission is to deliver world-class technology solutions to our stakeholders and customers, in support of our ambitious business goals. 

What You'll Do

• Develop new features and capabilities for the front-end by building React components for our websites and B2B product line

• Build out state management events and actions to drive data to enable a smooth-running application

• Design and develop scalable APIs to deliver data to our internal and external applications and integrations

• Planning and prototyping of new applications

• Testing new features to ensure they meet requirements and conform to PFF’s quality standard 

• Actively participating in code reviews

• Staying up to date with new trends and advancements in web development and data engineering

• Participate in user experience discussions 

• Configure and set up CI/CD pipelines to enable deployment into production systems

What You Need

• 3-5 years of experience developing and delivering cloud-deployed web applications

• Proficiency and significant work experience with Javascript

• Proven record of building and maintaining a large-scale web application using Node.js 

• Strong experience with working with databases, such as MongoDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, or Redis

• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as AngularJS, React, and Vue.js

• Experience with container and configuration management technologies such as Docker

• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Intrinsically motivated and enjoy exploring new ideas in pursuit of the best solution to a challenge

• Proactive team player, with exceptional time and people management skills

• Experience with supporting large-scale IoT deployments is a plus

• Experience with Github, Confluence & JIRA is a plus
