Job Description

We are looking for a FULL STACK JAVASCRIPT developer

Individual will be primarily responsible for:

  • Develop back-end and front-end code for web applications, using cloud solutions

  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)

  • Participate in the design of the architecture of new cloud projects for the organization.

  • Keep the organization informed and updated on new and emerging cloud technologies, tools, and frameworks

 Required Knowledge, Skills and Expertise:

  • Several years of professional experience as a Web software developer including front-end and back-end work.

  • Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) services, like Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync and API Gateway

  • Experience working across client and server-side JavaScript libraries like React (including Hooks), Redux, SWR, Node JS and Material UI (User Interface).

  • Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web APIs, REST and GraphQL

  • Experience with unit testing, source control, and good software engineering practices

  • Cross platform deployment experience (Web, Desktop and Mobile)

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Expertise:

  • NoSQL, PWA (Progressive Web App), Typescript

  • Experience deploying analytics and using data insight is a plus

Qualified applicants should possess:

  • A BS/MS in Computer Science and/or 5+ years related experience

  • 2 year of experience building commercial solutions deployed on the field

  • The understanding of the software product lifecycle: design, development, distribution, and support.

  • Basic understanding of cloud-native principles and design patterns such as microservices and familiarity with AWS and/or Azure

  • Great learning capabilities and problem-solving skills

  • Basic understanding of Agile methodology such as Scrum.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • English written and spoken (business is conducted in English)
