Job Description

Dentsu Creative is looking for a Junior Front-End Software Engineer to develop banners, email, and website builds. You will primarily be responsible for front-end development, including the implementation of design (CSS & HTML), dynamic interactivity, and animation. Reporting to the Innovation Director, you will help build assets from concept to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function. You should be well-versed in responsive design, able to write clean code, and ensure your programs run correctly. We also expect you to be passionate about building software and perform well working in a team, along with developers, engineers, and web designers.

Responsibilities

• Create mobile-responsive HTML/CSS from provided designs using templating languages

• Implement vanilla JavaScript for front-end interactivity.

• Implement animations using CSS3 animations and JavaScript.

• Enforce web standards compliance.

• Ensure that websites are thoroughly tested and work across multiple platforms and browsers.
  

Qualifications

• Computer Science degree preferred, or comparable experience

• Experience building HMTL5 banners, emails, and website landing pages

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

• GSAP API Tween Lite or comparable engine

• Experience of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

• Experience integrating with a CMS is nice to have

• Must have a portfolio of previous work

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $ 59,000 - $65,000. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
